This Christmas, Kilcock Celtic are hosting a Charity Event on the 22nd December to raise money for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association. Our former player, coach and committee member Gerry Kidd was diagnosed with MND earlier this year. The event kicks off at 6pm with our underage sides playing small sided games from 6pm to 7.30pm, and the main event being our senior teams playing a mixed game at 7.45pm. On the night our underage players will play for free, but we’d ask the parents, guardians, or spectators who attend the event to support the cause. It is a €10 entry on the night, and you’ll be provided with a ticket upon paying entry so you can come and go to get refreshments.
Alternatively, we have an online link to also pay by debit or credit card for people who do not have cash on the night or are unable to make the event. If you pay by card and attend the event, please present your online receipt to our volunteers at the gate who will give you your ticket. The link is at the bottom of this post. There will be hot food and drink available. Salt and Chilli will be supplying the food while our friends at Beanery will be there providing complimentary tea and coffee, with a donation bucket at the coffee truck.
It is sure to be a great night and we want the full support of our Kilcock Celtic and town community to attend the event.
If anyone is interested in helping out on the night or have any questions contact the page for further information.
