Kilcock Celtic was honored to welcome Gerry Mc Ananey, the FAI President down to the club on Wednesday 13th October. Gerry checked out our facilities and spent lots of time going around to talk with all the coaches and players. He was very impressed with what we have achieved and how hard we are all working to improve the club.
We then gave him a short presentation on the history of the club and all the projects we have been working on, including our Football for All, Infinity Football, Jumpers For Goalposts, Disney Program, and the Transition year student project, the progress we have made with our Academy and the huge growth in the ladies and Girls side of the club. We of course also told him about our 19 underage boys teams and the growth to two masters and two senior teams as well.
We discussed what help and support the FAI can offer us as we move forward, both with all these projects and our future plans for improving our facilities. He was very encouraging and promised to support us in whatever way he can.
