A solid performance from Kilcock Celtic Women's team on Sunday morning in their first pre season friendly against strong opposition Parkceltic Summerhill. Parkceltic took an early lead inside the first 10 minutes. However Kilcock settled quickly and secured an equaliser following some great passages of play culminating in a strike from Serena Carroll finding the back of the net. Kilcock continued to apply pressure on Parkceltics defence and midfield leading to a through ball to Sally O'Reilly who slotted the ball in the back of the net giving Kilcock the lead before half time. Strong performances from all players throughout the game both defensively and in attack kept the game at 2 goals to 1 to secure the win

Overall a good start to preseason preparations for the team who look forward to upcoming friendlies before commencement of league fixtures end of March
